Dr Will Brooks

Outside work, Will spends much of his time with his young family and tackling house renovation projects. He also admits to a slight addiction to Crocs, particularly green ones. He owns several pairs and has a favourite pair for almost every occasion.

Will cycles to work whenever possible, although he occasionally walks instead. He enjoys craft beer, spicy curries, and spending time with friends. A fiercely competitive person, he is known to sulk for days after losing a game or challenge.

When time permits, Will plays the piano and enjoys reading. He is currently working through a fascinating book on Near Eastern Late Antiquity. He also loves travelling and exploring new places.

Will is already passing his enthusiasm for adventure and cycling to his eldest son. Together, they tackle long coastal rides, provided there is ice cream waiting at the finish.
